Had a lovely day today spent the majority of the day with Gemma. dropped Ted and Olivia offat nursery and went into the village. went into our cafe, collected them from nursery and then Ted came to ours for lunch and a play. Rich got back at 3pm and collected Brendyn from school who was over the moon as he had a head teachers award, for good work. We went shopping and we always like to reward them for anything they have achieved to make them feel special and encourage them for the future. So we brought Brendyn a lorry race set and as we treat them equal Olivia a baby doll for great parents evening report. We had pizza for tea and had our "family film night" Brave. Once they were in bed we watched tv, I didn't craft today it was nice to just cuddle up with Rich and watch tv.
Brendyn brought this home from school, his last topic before half term was planet's. Bren we love your stitching!
Olivia came home and played with the sequins, making pictures. She read stories to her dolls and wanted to fetch Brendyn by 1.30 she misses him when he's at school. School are having a book swap where they take so many books in and swap them for the same amount, so we found lots of books that she has grown out of or read, ready to swap next week, she is excited to get new books but I have to keep reminding her, they are second hand. Parents evening this evening.
Well done Brendyn and Olivia we are so proud of you both! Especially Brendyn last p e we had a good report with the but " stop fidgeting" you have stopped and no complaints so that's great, well done! xxxx Swimming was cancelled again today, poor kids! chlorine levels apparently, on a plus I had more time so I made a very small candle. Olivia came home with a letter via school from Nhs saying "our child was uncooperative when the orthoptist visited the school "oh dear I asked her why, she said " mummy she was a stranger "what can you say to that! So we will take her the weekend, had we have known they were having a visit I could have prepped her, I couldn't help chuckle though, would have loved to be a fly On the wall that day.
Spent the afternoon doing more housework and sorting Washing out now I have loads of ironing. I called Mum and dad was nice to catch up. And that's it really no other news. lovely day today daffodils opened inside and outside.
housework and beckys for lunch olivia loved catching up with Emily. spent rest of day googling costumes for world book day, school keep us on our toes, first day back and something to sort allready. They are both excited though Olivia has picked snow white she has book and costume, boys are more difficult. Well today is the last day of our half term holiday, so Rich thought it would be a good idea to go to the cinema. So we saw freebirds. Came home and Brendyn was as good to his word and he got straight on with home work no fuss. Richard tied some flies then showed Brendyn how to (these are for fly fishing, they had a go on holiday), last time Richard went fly fishing was at Malvern with his dad 2008, so it was special being able to show his son how his dad had shown him. Olivia played dolls and cooking with a bucket and spade (dont ask) she has a kitchen and a bakery, but the bucket will do. I finished all the washing from the holiday I started yesterday and cooked a joint of bonless pork, we made a victoria sponge cake and I cut Olivia's hair ready to go back to school, it was getting really luggy and the screaming fits in the morning were driving her and me mad.
